Cygan, Executive Director</span><br /> <br /> <span class="style6">As a daughter of the school's original owners, Mrs. Cygan was well trained to ultimately take the position as executive director of Heritage Oak. Mrs. Cygan began a teaching career that included physical education as well as teaching pre-kindergarten and kindergarten. After several years of managing the school office and operations, Mrs. Cygan and her husband, Gregory Cygan, purchased the school from her father in 1992. The school has blossomed from 123 students as that time to well over 500 students. The Cygans now have seven children, many of which have graduated or are currently attending Heritage Oak. For those of us who know her, she truly exemplifies her profession, admitting that her favorite activities are to spend time with her family, and to work with all the children at school.</span>.<br /> <br /> </p> <p align="right" class="style3"><span class="style5">Latrese Jackson, Director, Middle School</span><br /> <br /> <span class="style6">Mrs. Latrese Jackson joined the Heritage Oak administration in 2007 after spending 17 years working as a Teacher, School Psychologist, Student Intervention Counselor, and Middle School Assistant Principal in the Los Angeles Unified School District. She holds a Bachelors Degree and a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology as well a Clear Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, a Pupil Personnel Services Credential in School Psychology and an Administrative Services Credential. Additionally, Mrs. Jackson has extensive training in program development, classroom management, multicultural awareness, and character building. While she is relatively new to the administration, Mrs. Jackson and her husband have been a part of the Heritage Oak family for many years as parents to three Heritage Oak students.</span> <br /> </p> <p align="right" class="style3"><span class="style5">Lynette Bowen, Director, Second through Fifth Grade</span><br /> <br /> <span class="style6">Lynette Bowen brings over thirteen years of teaching experience to her role as the Second through Fifth Grade Director. After earning her Bachelor's Degree in Human Services with an emphasis in Elementary Education and Social Work along with her teaching credential, she spent five years teaching at Fairmont Private School before joining the third grade team at Heritage Oak. She is now entering her ninth year with the school, having taught both third and fourth grade. A strong advocate of community building and volunteerism, Mrs. Bowen has spent many years contributing time and expertise to the Cathy Torres Learning Center, an after-school program for underprivileged children. Mrs. Bowen and her husband have three children, two of which attend Heritage Oak.</span><br /> <span class="style6"><br /> </span></p> <p align="right" class="style3"><span class="style6"><br /> </span><span class="style5">Kimberly Ford, Director, Preschool through First Grade</span><br /> <br /> <span class="style6">Heritage Oak welcomed Kimberly Ford to its administration at the beginning of the 2008-09 school year. With over 14 years of experience as a school administrator and teacher, Ms. Ford most recently served as the principal of a Las Vegas private school, educating children between the ages of two and thirteen. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from California State University, Fullerton and her Master's degree in Education from University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She is currently continuing her education at Cal State Fullerton, pursuing her Ph.D. in K-12 Administration. Ms. Ford joined Heritage Oak not only as an administrator, but also as a parent.
