The students will work to design the robot, build it, and move it by remote control. They will learn about robot sensors, which enables the robot to “feel” its environment. Finally, they will learn programming in order to give the robot an ability to perform some defined tasks autonomously. The students’ individual progress will determine how complex they can go with robot autonomy.
