The Heritage Oak elementary grades start in Junior Kindergarten. Elementary students experience a core curriculum that is one year ahead of the California Public Schools.  Our program focuses on very distinct interrelated skills; language and literacy, mathematics, and problem solving.  Students learn how to effectively gather information, apply it, and then use it as the basis for new skills such as reasoning, analyzing, and critical thinking.  Our personalized learning plans allow for us to monitor and communicate individual academic growth to parents. By focusing on the critical skills of literacy and math in these formative years, the school produces students who are confident and knowledgeable communicators.

In addition to the accelerated core curriculum, students also enjoy instruction in science, social studies, spelling, and geography.  Physical education, foreign language, art, cotillion, instrumental music, and technology are also integrated into the course of study. All elementary students benefit from our iPad program and over 90% of Heritage Oak’s Elementary teachers have earned Apple Teacher Certification.
