January 16, 2019

YORBA LINDA, Calif. (Jan. 16, 2019) – Students at Heritage Oak Private Education in Yorba Linda recently donated 300 toys to the Los Angeles Police Department’s annual toy drive, as well as 350 nonperishable food items to Canning Hunger. The donations were the result of school-wide drives to benefit local families in need during the holiday season. At the close of each drive, students helped pack, prepare and load the items for delivery to the organization. Through these initiatives, students learned the importance of giving back in their community, especially during the holidays.
