At the end of the week, join us for an incredible show, when you are invited to our very own dance recital!

Robotics – 4th-8th  PM Camp
Want to be on the edge of technology? Robotics is a project-based camp that will enhance engineering, science, and technology skills. VEX Robots help students unlock the power of their imagination by designing and constructing remote-controlled robotic devices. Students will learn the concepts of Machine Intelligence, which is found in almost all the devices and machines we deal with, from cars to cell phones. The students will work to design the robot, build it, and move it by remote control. They will learn about robot sensors, which enable the robot to “feel” its environment. Finally, they will learn programming in order to give the robot an ability to perform some defined tasks autonomously. For example, they will try to make the robot follow a certain “black line” on the ground or program it to find its way around an obstacle in its path. The students’ individual progress will determine how complex they can go with robot autonomy.
