NASA Dreams- Rocket Science- JK-8th AM Camp(NEW)
3, 2, 1 – BLAST OFF! Come to Mrs. Bernard’s NASA Dreams Rocket Science camp, and get ready to experience the fun of flight! From the Wright Brothers all the way to the future of space travel, Rocket Science Camp will be jam packed with excitement! Use Mrs. Bernard’s super rocket launcher to create a water rocket that blasts over 100 feet into the air! Find out what it is like for astronauts in zero gravity by completing anti-gravity challenges, and even eat Astronaut Ice Cream! Create your own army man parachute! Find out what it takes to drop an egg from a building without letting it crack!  Learn to fold and fly the “Paper Airplanes of the Day”! Fly on over to NASA Dreams Rocket Science Camp!

Super Hero Sports – JK-3rd AM Camp
Young Superheroes will have the time of their lives participating in such sports as Captain America Ball, Flash Speed Racing, X-Men Training Tag, Spiderman Soccer, Deadpool Dodgeball, Batman Baseball, and more! They will take place in an Ironman Fitness Challenge where they will have a chance to show their power and strength. This camp, taught by Heritage Oak’s long-time P.E. teacher and coach, will be a fantastic opportunity for your child to stay active over the summer in an exciting, creative, encouraging environment. Athletic shoes and water are required each day.

Stem Superstars – 1st-5th AM Camp
STEM is the combination of science, technology, engineering, and math—and it’s a great cross-curricular way to learn! What is the best way to build a structure out of spaghetti noodles that can support the weight of a marshmallow? How can we make a marble continually flow through a roller coaster made of drinking straws? These engineering challenges and more will be explored in this exciting, hands-on class! Students will complete many different building challenges throughout the week to learn about concepts such as inertia, structural support, gravity, buoyancy and more!

Intensive School Year Prep – JK/K    FULL-DAY CAMP
This is a rigorous one-week session from 9:00am-4:00pm. Through this positive academic environment, students will thrive and become prepared for Heritage Oak’s content for the upcoming school year which exceeds public school standards by one full academic year. The focus will be on skills in reading, writing, and math. Students may be moved to another School Year Prep class at the discretion of the administration  to ensure a positive and productive learning experience. Parents will be notified of any changes.

Intensive School Year Prep – 1st    FULL-DAY CAMP
This is a rigorous one-week session from 9:00am-4:00pm. Pre-Algebra 5th-8th AM Camp
Students entering grades 5th-8th are invited to attend our pre-algebra camp. They will learn and practice early pre-algebra skills and be exposed to advanced pre-algebra concepts.

Ultimate Unicorn Camp- JK-3rd PM Camp
Always be yourself unless you can be a unicorn, then always be a unicorn! Join us for a magical week of fun-filled crafts and activities such as making unicorn slime, unicorn jewelry, and unicorn paintings.

Make, Take and Bake! 1st-8th PM Camp
Does your child want to be a little chef?  This class will focus on the casserole dish and its popularity! The children will make a casserole dish each day and bring it home to bake for the family. The students will learn about portions, measuring, using tools safely, food safety, and tips and tricks for quick clean up. Join Mrs. Kyte for a fantastic week of making meals for the family to enjoy! 

Read It and Eat It- JK/K PM Camp
Students will learn the true meaning of classic literature selections while making creative art pieces and fun and tasty cooking projects aligned with the story. The class will read/listen to a book and discuss details, main ideas, and characters.  They will then participate in a writing assignment that goes along with the book.  Each day we will end the class by tasting the food that was discussed in the story.
